SAN ANTONIO, May 15, 2018: Kalypso Wellness Centers, a leader in advanced ketamine infusion treatment for chronic pain, PTSD, migraine headaches, depression, fibromyalgia and many other conditions, has reached a medical milestone – it’s performed 3,000 Kalypso Ketamine™ infusion treatments in less than two years.

“We have achieved phenomenal growth in such a short amount of time because ketamine has become an extremely popular way to treat various disorders and illnesses that are extremely difficult to treat using traditional medicine, such as PTSD, neuropathic pain, migraine headaches, anxiety, and inflammatory pain,” said Dr. Cannon Clifton, Kalypso Wellness Centers CEO and founder.

Dr. Clifton believes that Kalypso Wellness Centers reached its 3,000 infusion treatment milestone because of the effectiveness of their treatment methods on patients and the lack of side effects their treatment method causes compared to generic ketamine.

Kalypso Wellness Centers utilize five distinct proprietary ketamine formulations and tailor the infusions to each patient’s unique disease state. As a result, hundreds who had previously suffered for many years have been able to substantially improve their quality of life. Ketamine, which has traditionally been known as an anesthetic or a recreational drug, is fast gaining a reputation as an alternative method for pain management and depression.

Because of the success Kalypso Wellness Centers have had with their proprietary ketamine infusions — a 90% clinical efficacy rate and a 5% adverse side affect rate — Kalypso’s founders have been able to expand their practice to three clinics across Texas (San Antonio, Corpus Christi, North Houston) and one clinic in North Carolina. They expect to open additional clinics soon.

Kalypso was founded in 2016 by two board certified anesthesiologists and two board certified pain management doctors, now features four clinics. The company expects to launch new therapies in the new future. Dr. Scott Worrich, Kalypso Wellness Centers Chief Clinical Officer, continues to investigate innovative formulations that will benefit patients.

“We spend a significant amount of time researching various medicines and formulations to optimize our treatments for specific conditions. Our customized treatments offer significant value to patients as evidenced by the 31 different disease states we have treated at our clinics. Our slogan is ‘RESET…for life’ because our Kalypso Ketamine™ infusions help people ‘reset’ their lives,” Dr. Clifton said. “We have helped hundreds of people reset their lives, and we are going to help thousands more. I believe that in the not-too-distant future, ketamine will be the rule and not the exception.”
